I could browse this place all day long, great staff, love the young man who works up front . Very spiritual, kind, and wise. Always helpful. Always something nice to say.

Good things, mostly clothes of course. The usual disparity between women's and men's clothing. A bit disorganized, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a stop in.

Some very nice stuff (Lucky Brand, Prada, Coyuchi) but pricing is hit-or-miss. Sometimes I see great deals, and sometimes I feel like I could get a new item for the same price. Staff is friendly, but does not negotiate. If you find something is broken, either they say the price is "as is" or they just throw it away. Donating is also an iffy proposition. They get buried in donations, so often they turn away things like books and housewares.

My wife liked the selection and bought a cute terra cotta coffee mug we're going to put on our kitchen table with a little fern potted in it. One-star off for cash-only. Proceeds go to elder care, which is nice.

Yes, we receive books in good, readable condition. We don't accept books with mildew, water or insect damage, or broken spines. Fiction and non-fiction, books for children and adults, cookbooks, and art and gardening books all sell well at our store. Because of limited space to store donations in our sorting area, we ask that donors limited their donations to 1 or 2 grocery store size paper bags or book box size boxes of donations. Thank you for thinking of the West Marin Community Thrift Store for your donations!
The West Marin Community Thrift Store accepts gently used donation items during all open hours; Wed-Sunday 10:30-5:00.
