This was a great camp site. We stayed in pull through 44, which worked out great. We didnt have a shade structure over our patio bench, but there was a lot of grass, plenty of room to walk our dog around, and quick access to the river. While we were disappointed that it wasn't easy or convenient to go swimming in caballo, the riverside camp site was great and I will be visiting again many times in the future. Pet friendly, lots of families, and a great price for a grassy camp site.

I'm bicycle camping, so my perspective is a bit different. Most people now have RV, which means very few are using the restroom . The restroom has a nice warm shower, and was very clean. The park seems to be well cared for.

Nov 13, 2021. Very nice and clean campground to spend just the day or stay overnight. Great for family, kids, and/or friends. 1.30 hours driving from ELP.

This is the first time we camp here and we loved it! We set up our pop up trailer in the full hook up section and had no problems. There is plenty of shade, many trees, and beautiful nature all around. The days were hot and the nights cool... just perfect. The restrooms are really clean, i believe they are cleaned multiple times a day due to their cleanliness. The showers are nice and private. The shower water is a bit hot but still nice. My family had a blast and we will definitely be back! Kids enjoyed the playground. If visiting in the summer I recommend bringing a small inflatable pool to cool off if you don't want to cool off in the river.
