Mike is a great host and taught us alot of tricks and hacks and kept the riff raff to a minimum. Clean bathrooms. The campground is beautiful. Had some little rivers running through our campsite during rainy season but heard that will be fixed this winter. My go-to spot!

Great location for nice camping trip or even a day trip. Nice and quiet since it's away from the main road. Open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. We'll definitely be back next year!

Did not stay at the campground but hiked the trail down to the picnic area. Fairly easy trail with good views of the mountains and many wildflowers along the trail.

A beautiful secluded canyon campground with both single and group sites. Water spigots collocated with toilet (pit). Toilets are clean and surprisingly odorless. 4G cell service from nearby Cloudcroft. Hosts are helpful and friendly. Pic is of site 2, the only back in site for RV.

When do you close for the season this year? Can a 30' motorhome park in this park without problems? Has the fire ban been lifted to allow campfires? How much a night and do you pay by cash only? Can you fill up your fresh water tank there 8/15/2020

Usually close after Labor day. We had a camp fire a few weeks ago. 30' should be okay, but no hookups are at the sites. We paid $21 a night.

Hi! Can a campfire be made? Is it first comes first serves or are reservations required?
