Dr Tracy D. and ALL the staff at Suwanee Paws are by far the BEST clinic in town. even if you have to travel a bit...your pet will get the best care...they show so much compassion. As if your pet was their own...it is family here. I will never go anywhere else for pet care...as they give the BEST!!! If my pets could type a review this would be their own words. We love Suwanee Paws. 4life

they'll take stray kittens and everything just pull up there and have them in a cage and walk inside and I'll take them from you I'm sure they're really nice people
No they only work with cats and dogs. There are some excellent wildlife and exotic veterinarians near Newberry and also at the UF outpatient general medicine clinical rotation, where students rotate through to learn about normal "everyday" cases. Best of luck!
Hello Mrs. Mercer, all these questions can be answered at what we call a "prescreen" examination, which determines the suitability of your pet for surgery at our facility. It is a free visit and done as a work-in during the afternoon. We do advise that small breed or toy dogs wait until a minimum of 6 months of age, and sometimes larger than that, to optimize anesthetic safety. We also review your surgery estimate and any additional things at that time. Call or text the clinic today to set up the presurgical evaluation. Thank you
Hi Barbara, canine spay pricing varies by weight and special circumstance (such as estrus/heat, necessity of premedications or perioperative nausea medications, IV catheters, etc.) These are all determined at the time of initial surgical prescreening exam, which is a 15 minute appointment. We have these available for no fee as work ins or dropoffs during our normal day. This helps avoid your pet being canceled the day of surgery if a problem is found, especially if we have not previously seen your dog here before. Due to scheduling and housing limitations there is often a wait time for large females, and we have a general weight cap still in effect of 50 pounds and 5 years of age. Male dogs and young females between 15#-50 can normally be scheduled quickly. Please text the office directly at 386 362 1754 to set up an appointment, thank you!
We do not offer euthanasia services at this time.
Ok I will thank u Suwannee PAWS Inc.
After the 15 dollar deposit, it cost 77 with the mandatory rabies shot for a female kitten.
We have a very limited feline rescue outreach mostly focusing on homeless cats and kittens but you can call the clinic at 386 362 1754 for more information. Another option locally is Suwannee Valley Humane Society. Finally for pet rehomes we advise AdoptAPet.com
I would call PAWS and ask them. THEY ARE GREAT!!
Hello Mr. Turner, we aren't a shelter or humane society, we don't keep dogs here. Thank you!
Well its 6 to 1 odds, youre better off buying a lottery ticket lol
It's a great place to get shots and medications for your pets but it is not a dog pound or shelter. Contact Suwannee County animal control
No they don't, but they host adoption days.
I can't remember. Feral spay is 60$ neutering is less. Maybe 45$. Just call them, they will answer all your questions.
Hi Jim. Try calling them. They're great to work with. They helped us adopt kittens out or put them in foster homes. They took care of all the medical requirements.
Hello! We don't often put absolute pricing schedules out because it varies with whether the cat is a companion vs/ a feral or community cat, and also during some times of the year we have grants and programs that help offset the price so it may be much lower than the base price. In general, with no grant funding or financial assistance, adult kitties are $65 for females, $45 for males; there are additional charges for pregnancy. This includes pain medication, fluids if necessary, vitamins if necessary, and full anesthesia with an injection plus gas anesthesia. Each cat has its own large cage and is housed separately from dogs in a quiet cat room. For feral or community/barn/stray cats, we have package deals that definitely vary with grant programs, it is always best to call us and see what we have going on :) We also offer full additional vaccines, testing, antibiotic injections, wound treatment, etc. at the time of surgery. Rabies is the only vaccine we require which is $10.
