Great camping spot, was there July 5-8. Ended up staying further down the road at the Aspen Campground on the Camp Host's suggestion. Good call, Diamond Rock is nice but the sites are a little too close to the road and the speeders on the road kick up a lot of dust. Aspen and Diamond Rock bathrooms older and not as nice as the others on this string of campgrounds. Deer Creek, which is a little further down from Aspen looks like a really nice spot and has upgraded bathrooms. Was concerned about finding a spot 4th of July weekend but not crowded at all and amazing weather (40's in the am and 80's during the day). Nice little fishing hole near Aspen. The kids had a blast fishing and playing in the water. Saw a Brown Bear, Deer and Big Horn Sheet on our walks around the area. Can't really walk along the river since there is a lot of brush but still nice to hear the water. There is a dumpster at Diamond Rock and each campground has water tanks. Most of the sites at Aspen and Diamond Rock have fire rings (not used due to fire restrictions) and some pretty beat up picnic tables.
