Quiet soak with old friends. A delightful day! The gift shop is worth a special visit! One of the best small shops in the valley!

Stayed here twice on Skiing trips. Awesome place to return from a day of Skiing. Multiple pools with varying temps. Cozy cabin with comfortable bed. Kitchenette in cabin that we used for cooking as well. Perfect spot to get away from others.

I enjoyed my experience for the most part! The place is beautiful and the wagon I stayed in was cozy and warm! However they do not do much to protect guest from icy pathways and rhe treacherous hill you must drive up to get to the accommodations and pools I saw an older lady slip and fall while trying to get to the bathroom. She was no the only one having trouble as I slipped a few times and it was a conversation that came up in the pools quite a bit. Also, given the speed some cars have to come up the road to get to the top some sand and ice melt would go along way! If they aren’t going to take guest safety into consideration maybe they should not open in the winter

Absolutely loved our time here! We stayed in the Hill Top tiny house and not only was it adorable, but it was pretty secluded and had a private restroom right nextdoor. The springs were amazing. I was so pleased that Avalanche Ranch wasn't a crowded tourist spot. There were never more than two other people in the springs and once, we even had it to ourselves. The gift shop is awesome and we loved petting the animals and walking the property. I can't wait to come back next year!

I would compare this location to being at a campground where you either bring your food along or you would have to drive into a town nearby. Yes, Redstone is only a few miles but only has an extremely small country store and a one restaurant but that's it. Carbondale has grocery stores and wonderful restaurants, fast food and it's about 8 miles away.
