Oh my goodness, this place was wonderful! We were vacationing in Colorado for the first time and knew they had hot springs facilities. Last minute decision, we decided to try the Hot Springs Resort. It was so relaxing and nice with the live music playing. The facilities were clean and the staff was nice. If we are ever in the area again, we are definitely coming back.

After spending a half-day in the Mesa Verde National Park, we needed somewhere to decompress — Durango Hot Springs Resort did not disappoint! It was actually mind blowing how beautiful the scenery is around the hot springs. We also weren’t inconvenienced by the sulphur/rotten egg smell we heard so much about. The pools were WELL maintained for the amount of people there. I would say if you prefer a quiet soak, it’s better to come early. We arrived at 6:00PM and most pools had one couple each but by 7:00 every pool was crowded. Thankfully, everyone we met was so nice so it wasn’t too inconvenient. We also appreciate them for keeping at least two pools at/under 100 degrees — it was perfect for our first time.

Amazing-must-go!! First time going and won’t be our last! Many different hot tub temperatures (hottest we tried was 108F). The area is split up between an adult and family section. The family section has a heated pool along with about 4-5 hot tubs for the children! The place was super clean in the hot tubs and around the premise. Drinks were great as well! Also, nice and clean changing areas when done! Must do when around Durango!

Had online reservations and check in process was extremely easy. Each hot tub is temp checked regularly and updated, signs are visible also. Very clean facility and changing rooms. Really nice of the staff to come by and pick up all trash also. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

Yes, partially, theres a lift into the large hot springs.

I may be getting mixed information with the reviews, but is there a hot tub and massage package available? Or would I have to book them separately?
