Planned a spontaneous trip to the mountains and scored with this park. We loved it. Quiet. Clean. Cordial. Bathrooms were phenomenal. We normally have an easy camp meal our first night but we splurged and got pizza from the little family owned restaurant and it was amazing. They even had gluten free crust for my hubs. Loved our stay. Well kept and maintained facility. Will return.

Alpen Rose RV Park - our first stay and it was great! We were greeted immediately and shown to our spot which was clean and level. The staff were incredibly friendly. We travel with a mini-aussie and she absolutely loved the large, and I mean large dog run - which was split for large and small dogs. The park is close to town which made running around easy and fun. We highly recommend taking a look at this RV Park - great premium spots. We'll be staying here, again, on our way back.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay here (May '22). Wish we could have stayed longer! Durango is just a short drive away and a great little town. The Campground was very well kept, the office staff was top notch (even accepted packages for us which is huge since we're full time travelers) and easy in and out. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

I was so happy to find a year round RV park with full hook-ups! This park has a beautiful setting! We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Our spot was level and a short walk to restroom/laundry. We were in the big rig sites & you do share an electrical pedestal with the person next to you. We didn’t have a neighbor during our stay but it might be a little crowded when the park is at capacity. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay.

I was very disappointed with my site . It seemed unsafe with misc. wood in back of space . No cover for sewer dump . My small trailers door access was by all the sites hook ups .There pool had no hand rail to get in and out of pool . Lights always were off during stay in hallways to restrooms . Reported to staff several times . Very bad lighting to walk on roads in sites ..

Marybeth and I would like to be compensated for the hours we worked. Not asking for anything other than what we are owed. Have John respond to Marybeth and we can resolve this.

Hi, I'd like to know about the air quality as of now, June 19th. Smoke? Haze? How close is it and is it visible from the park?

We left that area awhile ago. U may want to call Alpen Rose and ask them.

Is the park still open because of wild fire ?

Yes it is, there is some morning smoke and evening smoke and a lot of activities around the region are cancelled.

How is the air quality this week? because of the 416 fire. Pics make it look really close.

Fire wasnt close, when the wind blowing from the North only time the air quality was somewhat bad was in the morning. If you have Asthma not a place to be. One couple pulled in at night and had to leave next morning due to his wife's asthma.
