This hotel is absolutely amazing. I had a client residing at the hotel and wanted to do something nice for he and his wife. The Concierge, Sandra, and Michael at the front desk, both strategize together to help me quickly plan a wonderful gift for my client. They both stayed late and went well out of their way to assist me and I cannot thank them enough! These two employees exemplify customer service. Since I work in a customer service centric industry, multi family, I wanted to commend them both for going out of their way and providing the superior service! Old school charm. The rooms, TVs and a few other areas could use an upgrade, but for the location, ambiance and service, this place gets 5-stars from our party. High praise for the staffing here. The food is yummy too, although be prepared for Laguna prices on everything. Tip: Ask for a room away from the pool where it is more quiet and may have more outlets, but still close to everything. Also, grab some items from Ralph’s nearby for your mini-fridge to make your stay less painful.

Love this place. Great views from the rooms. Service was great! overall I would give it a 4.5. The one thing missing was the special touch. We were there for our anniversary and a bottle of champagne and chocolates were part of the package. They were not delivered until my wife called them and asked them about that. I know... A small thing, but the small things are what makes you remember. In addition, we got there and power was out. Not the hotels fault nor the patrons fault. Maybe a free drink or water should have been offered while you wait. The wait ended up being longer than was advised. I know... another small thing. Just saying.

This is a great hotel that touches the water in Laguna Beach. The tower rooms on the top floor are the best views in my opinion. Not a lot of the rooms have air conditioning but they give lots of fans and being on the sand can be breezy so it's perfect. Great location and delicious coffee in the hotel. The restaurant and bar also have great sights but get reservations. And the pool can be a fight for the best seats that face the water, so if you want prime seats, get there early.
