I absolutely love this little Hamlet! When I was growing up in the sixties and seventies here in Orange county, this place held a mystique amongst the minds of my peers. We would come down here and build bonfires on the beach and hang out together. There was once a treasure map and a series of clues that would take you from place to place. It was very intriguing at least to our teenage minds, and we were hoping to find it, but never did. Does anyone reading this post remember that? Or was it a figment of my imagination? I remember the greeter the long bearded man standing by the beach waiving at people. I think most of us thought he had a screw loose! And I think most of the girls were afraid of him. But actually he was pretty harmless. Some of us more brave boys went up to talk to him and he was a very kind and loving man as far as I could tell! I come down to the Laguna Beach library because the staff there is so very cool! They are happy, polite, and very very helpful! We also get around because I've been going there for months! I even have my own little corner of that library! Just today I talked to a beautiful young lady who works for the recreation department while we were both waiting for our lunch to be prepared at Las Sirenas. It's nearly right across the street from the library down mermaid avenue a few doors. You'll recognize it because there are always people standing in line to order or wait for their orders! That's how you can tell a very very good restaurant! When I was down in Mexico, we used to call these little restaurants Mamacita's. It was where a mother or grandmother would open a small restaurant in their house and charge $2 for dinner. You never knew what momma was going to cook! But you knew that it was always going to be good! Laguna Beach also has hundreds of little shops and thrift stores! They sell everything there! And they're all tiny little shops privately owned! That's the American way! And I believe in supporting local businesses! Before the big box stores were introduced to our economy the private citizens that open businesses hired the vast majority of the population! But when stores like Walmart come in they slash prices to drive the little business owners out! In my travels over the past 40 years, I've seen this happen time and time again. We're downtown cities or small towns were empty! There was a little town in Missouri, I don't recall the name but I remember one Saturday morning I was taking a walk around this little town and I saw a group of older men in front of the VFW having coffee and donuts together. And I stopped and asked them where were all the people? They all pointed in One direction. I asked what's there? In unison they said, "Walmart!" When we were growing up here, they shared, Saturday morning it was hard to find a place to park here! The shops and stores were bustling with people! And then Walmart came in and stole all the business. Now, We are a ghost town. It was a very sad sight to see!

Roughly 4.5 hours
Yes if they are service dogs
During festival season the Trolleys run from 9:30am to 11:30 pm weekdays and weekends.
9am
Laguna Beach parking app shows were all the parking spaces are, and also has a trolley tracker showing live trolley information
where do I pickup the trolley, park and time of pickups?
Best place to park on a weekend would be lot 16 in the canyon and take the trolley into town. On the weekdays, park at lot 10 by the art-a-fair and walk into town.
