Incredible resort at the south end of Laguna Beach. Incredible property with top notch service. Broad selection of food options on the property. Short walk to an incredible string of beaches. Highly recommend The Ranch.

The stay was wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they always made sure to keep the spirits high. The room was beautiful, good space and clean. The pool and the jacuzzi were really nice. The restaurants had live music, fitness center was 24h. They had some activities throughout the week. There was no view toward the beach, but it’s only 10min walk away from Aliso beach where the Lost Pier Cafe offers complimentary beach umbrella and chair for guests. It is definitely a romantic getaway.

I have deleted my original review because the hotel made things right after things started out very wrong. I will say that if you are expecting 5 star accommodations you will be sorely disappointed as the rooms and spa are three star level and the beachside restaurant is a shack attached to port a potties next to a public parking lot. The food at the other two restaurants on the property and the waitstaff at both are out of this world excellent. They were definitely the highlight and live up to five stars.

Our stay was nice, rooms nice, played golf also very nice. Patio's and restaurant was solid ok. Live music on deck very nice, but 200$ to sit by your fire pits completely stupid. Each night I was there, (3) nobody used them. I think management should be embarrassed. Interesting how many other people thought it was ridiculous as well. Obviously not about building community as much as making a buck.
