I had Lane Forest deliver and blow in a load of bark to our yard. To say I am impressed would be an understatement. The installers were very professional and did a beautiful job of spraying in the bark. Once done with that they did an immaculate cleanup leaving the yard in beautiful condition. Unquestionably I would use them again.

The people were helpful and friendly which is why 2 stars was even given. The 3 yards of soil that I got termed "Lane's Best" is in actuality, Lane's WORST. After planting over 1000 seeds of 40+ different plants, I have had nothing but weeds come up. The soil turned to mud when first watered, and subsequently created an inch thick crust of CLAY, preventing any seedlings from breaking through the surface. The plants that I had transplanted have all started to wilt, turn brown, lose leaves, and color. There is minimal water absorption, only run off due to the clay layer. I would return this stuff if I could, however after breaking myself in half to get it all in my garden beds, it's not even worth the effort. No food garden for this family, looks like we will be dependant on the chemically infused produce of tomorrow.. Thank you, lane's best.

Wow! The awesome variety of materials, ideas and good advice abound. We went for River Cobble and found it and more, pebbles to boulders that you can purchase buy the pound, bucket or ton. Their staff helped with loading. A great place to day dream and start planning.
