Haven't been here in a while and only came because MI Guadalajara was unexpectedly closed. It took over 5 minutes for someone to appear at the hostess desk to start seating people. Including us, there were over a dozen people waiting some came in ahead of us and some behind us. We got seated and within 30 seconds the server appeared to take our food and drink order, fortunately we knew what we wanted and were able to order quickly. No complaints on the food at all, it came out pretty quickly, was hot and tasted good. Our server never came back to check on us at all. When she did finally come back over it was to bring us our check. When we're not even halfway through our meal and we haven't been asked if we need anything or offered refills to be presented with your check is kind of irritating. The decor is showing its age and the dining area is a little grubby and could really do with a repaint.

Food was fresh, seasoned, delicious. It had been a while since we came here, because previous experiences were...just ok. But today I was very impressed! Shootout to our server, Karen, who was great. I'll be back.

Delicious food. We had the chile rellenos and the enchiladas suizas. Plenty of a la carte options and combinations. They have a full bar! Friendly, attentive servers. They have Sunday Brunch too!

We had our sports banquet there where we were served chicken beef and shrimp street tacos along with refried beans which were the best I've ever had in Mexican rice with all the trimmings. For dessert we had fresh churros with cream on the inside sweet and delicious.

Faster to just call them
I work as a server in cocina del charro, we use lard to cook the refried beans, that's why they're so delicious, but if you're going to order a fried item, like chimichanga or crispy shell tacos 🌮 we use canola oil on the fryer

I have no idea...but i would suggest either stopping by prior to dining or making a phone call to the place and asking...they are very nice folks at the restaurant
