I go the Ramona Post Office and the Poway Post Office. I love the fact that the Poway location so conveniently located right on Midland, one block off Poway Road and that the Postal workers are always friendly and efficient. If you need postal supplies, they have it all. There is a convenient outdoor drop window to alleviate people just picking up. It shortns the line. There is also a convenient drive through drop off for both regular mail and priority items. It's your one stop Postal stop.

Terrible delivery service! They damaged package and don’t have any responsibility for this!!! If you want it will be compensated, you MUST buy insurance by your self. Don’t use there service without insurance!!!

Woman at the front desk was very helpful! Even offered to help me repackage my Flat Rate after it was stuffed too big. Small indoor area can lead to some crowding, but the lines normally move fast. Lots of parking, separate drive through area for out the window drop offs. Airy outdoor PO Box area. Separate exit and entrance, so keep your eyes peeled the first time you stop by!

I have been a customer here for decades, so I feel my review is fairly accurate for the service you will receive. Physical location - for a government post office, it looks decent and has adequate parking. In those times where the PO lot is full, it's easy to park next door in the Sprouts lot and walk over. Front desk staff - they have always been extremely friendly, professional, and courteous. No complaints at all. Other office staff - up front they are nice and helpful. However, I've had a few packages that have become 'lost' somewhere in the PO after they were tracked to the location. Each time I've submitted help requests to find the parcels, and had their up front in person commitment that management would follow up. It's never happened...no emails, calls, or anything else. I'll continue to use their services because I have a PO Box here and the location is very convenient.

Sounds like you need to put pressure on the bank. Ask for the manager or switch banks. Maybe go to a credit union. As to your actual question, it may not work as I believe PO have a unique identifier in the zip code that would give you away. That said, I've know people who did something similar using a commercial mail box rather than one at a PO.
I can't believe that person told you to call the post office in question. There is no telephone number listed anywhere for that post office or any others I'm sure. You cannot get a live person at the 800 number. Automated response categories are so limited, consumers are unable to even use the automated system unless they want to buy stamps. It was this way before Covid so that excuse cannot be used. Try tracking down a package that USPS tracking shows as delivered but you DID NOT RECEIVE.
