Great park, very clean. Lots of amenities. Two playgrounds (one fenced in for little kids), large paved path around the whole park, a nice pond, tennis, volleyball, and baseball/soccer fields.

I came here because my wife suggested this place to play with our children. What a beautiful surprise and place in the region. We went straight to the playground for infants and toddlers, but I wish I could have explored more of the area. Here you can find sports courts and trails, along with a small pond where you can sit and relax with family.

Beautiful, clean park with FUN equipment. My 6, 8 and 11 year olds, who are nonplussed about playgrounds these days, love coming here monthly for Old Road Farm meat meet up. We'd come more often if we were closer!

A very nice, clean park that I have taken my daughter to numerous times to play and enjoy a sunny day. There are two different playgrounds, one designed especially for younger children, are both well maintained and my daughter always has a blast. There is a small lake with ducks as the highlight, as well as basketball courts, tennis courts and nature walking area into the woods the encapsulates the back half of said park. Parking never seems to be an issue and the other people populating the area have always been friendly. Definitely a worthwhile jaunt on a nice day, especially if you have kids with energy to burn.

There ARE NOT or HAS there EVER BEEN any type of POISONOUS Snakes at "SQUAW VALLEY PARK". Unless someone dropped them off.
All playgrounds, basketball courts, flex courts and the volleyball court are now open. Please follow usage guidelines posted at each facility.
There are no wetlands in the park. There is a pond and a creek runs along the back side of the park.
Most of the park is an open area with picnic shelters and ballfields. If you're referring to the Adaptive Playground, yes, it does have a fence around it.
The tennis courts at Squaw Valley Park have been closed as the result of a surface failure. Once the surface is fixed, they will reopen. It is not necessary to schedule time on the courts.
Squaw Valley Park and the surrounding trail were severely damaged during the storms and flooding in early July and have been closed since then. Repair work is now in full swing and we hope to be able to open very soon (weather dependent). Watch our website and Facebook page for updates and announcements.
We are working there but all work is weather dependent. We also have to have some work done by outside contractors and have to wait for openings in their schedules. We are hoping to have everything complete by the end of September. Watch our homepage and Facebook page for updates.
