Decided to try something from the Cheesecake Factory and sat along the river view to devour it. There were some benches in the shade so it was cool enough even in midday of the summer for a short chill there. Quiet and peaceful for a weekday break.

This park always been close to my home so my husband and I frequently take walks through this beautiful gem. It's small but it's only a part of a large network of park trails that runs through Mt. Washington and the south hills. It's a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors and the communal space that Pittsburgh has to offer. Plus, the views of the city are unbeatable.

You can park on Bailey ave, or there is a parking lot on Sycamore st.
No public parking within the park. On street parking, or Grandview Elementary School parking lot during non-school hours.
