This is such a beautiful location to have a mini vacation or any type of get away. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in some distant place, the peace and tranquility as well as all the history that it brings. I absolutely love the convenience of having many restaurants to choose from as well as lounges and seating areas, you don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to. You can take a brisk walk around the hotel, take a tour, watch a wedding take place in the chapel. Or walk around the block to the local shops, the library and park. Only drawback is that I am a very light sleeper and depending on where your room is, you may get a lot of noise from either restaurant below, the pool area or the busy street. But you can't beat the quality of rooms and the beds are so comfortable! I would highly recommend for any type of occasion. Or just drop by for dinner at any restaurant. Always have a great time when I go.

How can I start this review??? 🤔 Well to start off what a amazing hotel... this location comes with a amazing story. First the building was built back 1876 and still standing strongly.. The rooms had an fabulous view... all of the employees from the minute you drive in, then when you walk to the inside. We're very helpful with all our needs. Thank you all!!!! This is a perfect place to bring you kids, family or friends. Close to many different restaurants and stores...

We attended an awards banquet here. The venue is beautiful. Our complaint is about the catering format. All the fillets were cooked medium rare. While this is exactly the way I like my steak, many people do not like their steak that pink. I was surprised they didn't have the option to select a preference. Dessert was Casey Cupcakes, which are delicious. However, the catering service chose to use many flavors that people either love or hate. Patrons were not given a choice, just presented a cupcake. Again, I'm easy and like almost everything. But, this was not the experience for most people at my table. I would recommend they change their catering options to allow more advance selections so more people can enjoy the food as much as I did.

Parents were in town so I brought them here for the day. It’s a beautiful historic property, easily spent 2 hours strolling the grounds admiring every little detail. It’s never crowded when I’m here which I love. And the bar has comfortable seating, tastefully decorated. Drinks are consistent. The calamari is fried to perfection. There’s a guided tour if you wanna geek out.

It’s like $48ish for adults, and I think $25ish for kids
Thanksgiving to New Years
Yes and yes. Pretty reasonable though.
Its about the same
Yes , there's a hold on your card for incidentals, wifi, 23.00 for parking Valet and lastly,, bring your own water.
There is, but my suggestion would be to manage your expectations.
I'm assuming its just casual dress I didn't see nobody really dressed up other then they Were you to wear face masks in all areas of the hotel
Please answer
Yes it is..very easy to get on and out..wheelchair or walker
That's funny! We had non-spa music as well while we were waiting for our massage. I think it was the 80s soft pop mix. I definitely remember Lionel Ritchie and Elton John. They apologized, stating they were having trouble with the system. Then during the massage . . . no music. Ask one the attendants . . . I they can fix it, they will.
Yes we are open on Christmas we are a hotel that stays open even on holidays but a reservation is a must during the busy season
No
No pets
Top floor away from the pool/street -- a street restaurant played music until 2am the last time I was there and kept me awake. Also the AC in the room is old and loud, and the walls are thin--overall, not a quiet hotel at all.

Viewing the external light are at no cost. Only guests of the hotel will be allowed inside the hotel during the light turn on ceremony this Friday evening. Be prepared to walk since there will be street closures. It is a must see.
No specials. You will pay premium prices.
Yes, parking is not free unless you are lucky enough to find street parking.
It is free to see the lights
It's a super fancy place. Don't think they allowed to. But they should have some space on the back.
I saw many people checking in early and parking and then walking around till actual key time...
I've called them multiple times to book and they've answered every time. There is only 1 person who works the front desk, so maybe they were busy. It's a small place....
I don't know but they should! It's gorgeous.
No, no rooms. It's not a hotel any longer, instead it's just a cemetery.
4pm
No, meals are not included. The room service and restaurants are excellent, though!
If you call the concierge desk, I'm sure they can direct you. The Mission Inn staff is generally amazing 👍👍
There is public parking behind the mission inn and also on the corner down the street. You can also use the public library parking
Your best option will be call directly to the Hotel
yes, then transfer to a bus or get an Uber or Lyft
No need to be a guest
Actually yes you do need permission. If you are using a professional photographer you have to get permission. If you are talking selfies you are fine. I was taking anniversary photos with a photographer and they approached us and told us we needed to leave.
Its known to be. There's a large following of guests who stay because its known to be haunted. Known for strange sounds, smells, feeling of a cold hand and items moving. They decorate for Christmas very nicely, but reservations are taken a year in advance.
Depends on how early, how many days you are staying, if rooms are available to release for early check-in and if you are demanding or nice!
Brunch only on Sundays, in December there is a buffet all month in the Mission Restaurant, they close 10 pm
Usually about $60. This year they will have a featured brewery again like last year the you can have beer along with mimosas.
You certainly can visit with out staying, I recommend you call a day or two before you go and sign up for a tour of the hotel as it takes you places that are otherwise closed to the public.
Do not know at all, the hotel employees might know.
I am sure you can leave it with the bell captain

No you cannot order off the breakfast menu after 9am ot goes straight to brunch because the kitchen is used for the brunch
This time of the year might be hard. Usually they only allow those with reservations in. Be early and maybe you get lucky
Yes.
The Festival of Lights starts on November 23rd, 2018 and fireworks are scheduled to start around 5:30. Get there early as there will be thousands and thousands of people.
Yes
Yes
Yes but the quality of the sparkling wine is sub par, there's a reason why they're bottomless.
They have lots of meeting rooms banquets rooms call hotel reservations and as ask for banquets for more info
It depends what restaurant to you eat at but as far as mission inn restaurant they have options like a garden burger some pastas that can you can modify the sauces and salads also breakfast there are fruit plates oatmeal waffles and they have veggie sausage also but alot of things you can just modify if need be
I believe you can ask the front desk for a Razor
Front desk when you check in.
What do you mean?
Yes
It is less busy during the week..11:00am - 4:00pm best time.
I would ask the hotel / staff for a qualified answer. They seem very approachable and extremely helpful.
Scariest activity I experienced was observing big people at Sunday brunch eat so much.
No idea. You could call the lobby andvask, it would be quicker.
Most likely yes, but call guest services first just to be certain.
You can reserve a time, just call or inquire within.
Read the words on the back of the card. It will give you directions
If unfortunately it is already commercialized ... it is too expensive, for example a trip in a Cinderella cart for 6 people for 55 dollars.
The lights are on always. But daytime it hard to see. The inside is on always. Great for photos in the daytime
Please call the Mission Inn directly for their cancellation policies. I am not affiliated with the hotel. You're going to love it!
I was there on Saturday night and yes there was vendors but i don't know if there today
