The staff was very pleasant and attended to my request promptly. The man was nice enough to let me visit with the animals, very nice. The dogs all appeared in good care.

Yes. Unless there is a medical or severe behavioral need no dog will be put to sleep here. If overcrowded they will transfer to CVAC which is not a no kill. This is why adoption directly from DHS ACC is so needed. They are a shelter who is small but gives so much to their dogs and community. And really meet the animals needs.
I found a kitten and can't keep it can I bring it to you?
Call them directly; they may have pet food bank information for residents
You have to go to 1000 palms to the animal control facility to obtain a dog license-
Check out the Animal Action League for low cost spay and neuter.
