A station that does not connect directly to the other useful ones. It’s okay.

I am only giving it 2 stars because this is a train station and it met its purpose for me. But it was so disappointing to me that there was little to no shade for patrons. There were no employees to help direct us onto the appropriate platform. Everybody asked me what platform they had to be on, and I had to tell them I did not know either. Everyone I asked had no idea. The intercom is barley audible. It is a guessing game coming to this station which makes traveling stressful. Pick another station if you can. I will next time.

I wouldn't mind the Coaster not showing up on time for either of its last two schedules if the patrons were at least told why. We shoud be told when the trains won't arrive so we can try to make other plans.

A short bike ride and I can have a great time downtown for $5. Too bad they now banned booze, the train ride used to be a lot more lively back then.

The easiest way to do this is to use the Pronto App. Scan the QR code at the coster station you board and then again at the station you get off the train. FYI, coaster does not go till Anaheim. You need to use Amtrak Surfliner for that, or use Coaster till Oceanside and then change to the Sprinter or the Surfliner
There is no station there, just a stop for the train.
Like Chris said, it's an easy transfer.
It takes about 35 minutes. Schedule can be found on the NCTD website! gonctd.com/coaster/
Amtrak discontinued service to this station October 8th. They also dropped both Carlsbad locations. You will find Old Town the closest stop South or Solana Beach to the North.
On your phone
