I lived here for almost 3 years and when the new ownership took over they randomly decided to not let me resign my lease and gave me a 30-day notice and would not tell me why said they didn't have to give me a reason

Pretty awful. The neighborhood is one thing. But they had me sign a lease for the wrong apartment, causing a mess for me to sort out when it comes to renters insurance and electric. The buildings themselves are in disrepair. They won't put window screens in my unit, my sinks both leak into the cabinets below, every floorboard creaks (above and below, to the point of waking me up throughout the night), we have rodents and bugs (despite personal cleansliness and a disruptive pest control regiment that forces you to put your pets up at a daycare or skip work, whether or not they show), and no one picks up calls in the office. I put in a maintenance request for my AC a month ago with no response, and as I lack window screens my only choice is to risk more birds letting themselves in (yes it has happened and the damage was more than you'd think). My dog is going to have a heat stroke. Vacant apartment below me has remained a mess for 5 months now, likely causing half of the pest issues. Way overpriced for what I wound up with. They are slum lords, here.

Put a $140 deposit down told I would be contacted within 24 to 72 hours. I didn't hear from them. Till the day before the 1st and I paid the fees and gave them my check stubs and they claimed that I didn't and they told me the money is non refundable after I had to find another place because they never contacted me

Day 3 and it isn''t looking good. Definitely need to view the apartment inside in the morning and evening . In regards to the response below of not being able to locate me in your system, that is odd the complex just emailed me regarding being closed today and yesterday. Prior to that it was a notice Rent Due. I'm in the system (2/4/22) *****Update Moving. Ended lease early paying $1500 early termination fee +2 months notice. Due to the fees, please be very cognizant if you decide to move here.
