They need TRAINED employees. They staff should consistently be audited. They LIE and are unreliable

It looks like most people dropping one-star reviews here think they're reviewing the actual EDD and not the SF field office on Turk Street... I learned to rely on them a lot during my unemployment and my experience with them was awesome. Every single person I talked to in this office were actual locals, they were friendly, supportive, kind.. They knew what they were talking about with all kinds of advice and help to offer to navigate my way through the nightmare of an EDD system. So grateful to this team.

It’s a poor excuse of an agency, this is what happened when a country only spends money on military defense. It can’t even function so its closed its doors permanently. EDD CRASHED DURING A PANDEMIC. Yes EDD you got scammed, your using 1980s call center technology. I have been waiting over a year for un employment checks, I was only unemployed for two months. It’s completely pointless to call they never answer. They never respond to emails.

Lol. Offices are closed, and when you call you get a 3 minute message (which you can’t skip any part of) before the system just hangs up on you. The very long message even says they have increased their capacity, but it’s been like this for months. If they weren’t just trying to discourage people they would let you skip the message and get straight to the end, but it’s obvious they want to make it as difficult and frustrating as possible because some people will just give up. 8 thumbs down.
