Never a dull moment. Beautiful! We even tried photographing the night sky.

Nice campground for when visiting Lassen Volcanic with surprisingly good amenities. Showers, laundry, gas, and camp store are located at the entrance to the campground with all the things you might need. Flush toilets were pretty clean and each site had a picnic table, fire pit, and bear box. No cell phone reception which is always a bummer, but not that big of a deal. It is about an hour drive to the park’s main visitor center but the Loomis museum is very close to the campground for information. The main drawback is the mosquitos which are pretty bad since the campground is right next to a lake so make sure to have bug spray. Overall this is a nice campground and was a great place to make home base while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park.

We stayed not at the cabins but at the tent campground. The campground is really really spacious. The campground is near to manzanita lake trails.

Great park. Kind of tight for a bigger rig but most natural park campgrounds are. We stayed in our 42 foot fith-wheel.
