I liked this park. It was a large campground with many campsites, so if you're seeking solitude, this might not be your first choice. That said, plenty of activities to engage in. The sites were well maintained. The firewood was dry and ignited easily. It wasn't particularly quiet even after the official quiet hours kicked in at 10 PM.

This park, while expansive has been able to keep good privacy for campers with the large trees and bushes found here. The lake is great for a swim, some fishing, hiking or a paddle boat. A larger lake lies just across the highway and dunes on the other side toward the ocean. Great crabbing and cycling is not far off at the South Jetty recreational area.

My favorite place to camp. So much to do for adults and kids. Hiking, fishing, camping, swimming, kayaking, sandboarding, campfire. We have gone here for over 20 years. Hosts are fabulous and its clean. Bathrooms amd showers are kept up. Playground is just enough to keep kids busy and tire them out between everything else. Our favorite time to go is 4th of July!

Excellent place, the lake was refreshing not cold there was a heat dome that summer in Oregon the water was amazing not salty, perfect area almost like a beach even sand dunes at the same place so the kids could sand board, I loved it. There is a place close by to rent paddle boards or other.

There is a potable water fill located right after the RV dump station. It is actually on the way out but the road will easily let you loop around after filling and head back into the park.
