We are 1000 Trails members, when we signed up, we were assured we would always get a spot. That was a sales ploy. We couldn’t get a spot here Friday, we did get to stay at the Casino for free, so there is that. The pool is nice, they installed a new play structure. No beach access here, FYI. The clubhouse has recently been renovated. Nice campground. We have been here many times. Will return.

The geographical location is superior and it is very close to the town. You can get off the trestle at the Mo’s restaurant. You can catch crabs, but the season is not right. There are many small ones, or large female ones. At 11:00 on July 3, lunch and drinks were prepared in the park, and the scene was grand and orderly. The laundry room has a machine that automatically changes 25 cents coins, which is convenient and fast. The bathroom is very comfortable and clean, and a password is required to enter. It's not perfect, the camp is in a dense forest, there is no sunlight, and most of the time is out.

This place is one of the best Thousand Trails we have been to. Absolutely love it here. The sewer sites are a little sparse, but they are upgrading the power everywhere. 50amp and 30 amp at almost every site. The pool is heated. 2 hot tubs. Our Verizon signal was pretty good. If you get too deep into the trees you might get spotty cell service. The beach is just 5 minutes down the road. The lodge is newly remodeled. The playground is brand new. So many great things to say about this place. It rains quite a bit, but once you get a break in the rain this place is heaven on earth.

I love it! We stayed at a great site on lot E. Well wooded with a beautiful view. It feels like we are in a forest. Where we stayed was full hookup. The bathrooms have just been redone and look great. Well located to the beach and the dune is very close. Great space between the RVs. Excellent for maneuvering. The internet sometimes went down because of the trees, but most of the time I was connected with AT&T. I recommend!

Yep, sure is.
If you are coming from the south the street is on the left just past the Yamaha dealership. There is a lot with campers on the corner. Turn left and look for the flags at the entrance on the left side of the road. Pull in, pass the small hut and park next to the check in building. The best camp spots are to the left of the building. Go past and around the check in building, past the pool and turn left. The ones on the right of the building (on the hill) are a little tight and not good for a large camper.
Only if they have one available. Thousand Trails is mostly a membership operation.
I know if you are not a member your price is $50 a night.
Only if it has plates to be on the road. Signs everywhere about it on the road going in.
No breed restrictions but keep them quiet and on leash and don't forget to pickup after him. Have fun.
You can go on Google and look up the Resort and then look at the menu and it should list map of the camp area then you can see where the camp sites are.
Yes it was when we were there. Hours open are posted in front of pool daily.
I also experienced poor wifi, you may want to spend the extra time and maybe money to invest in a hotspot.
Slow WiFi but better at the Lodge area. Cell service was good for AT&T TMOBILE.
They are close but not too close, there is still privacy. Try viewing them on Google maps and using the satellite setting. You should be able to get an idea of the spacing there.
No. But it can be refused as per the caretaker's discretion.
Hi Ken, I don't think there are sites without an electrical hook-up. That said, I ran my generator for about an hour to keep the battery charged, etc. and no one gave me any greif over it.
Yeah Safeway is about 3-5 minutes away. Including a couple gas stations and a liquor store.
Yes, staging area for dunes is about 1/2 mile, not sure if it's legal to ride down the road to get there tho. You can dry camp at goose pasture entry which is about 1 mile from South jetty TT or can camp in back loop at honeyman SP and have direct dune access from campground.
Sorry no dune access there is a staging area just down the road from south jetty rv
Some do some don't, they have 30 amp, with sewer. I don't think any of their 50 amp sites have sewer
For RV spots or tents Check in can be anytime from 8AM to 9PM. Checkout is 12 for RV and Tent sites. For Cabins and yurts Check in is 4PM, and if you can't make it in time before the ranger hut closes the day of arrival, call the rangers. We make acceptions for Rentals. Check out for the Rentals is 11AM
Yes and open. The hot tubs have steam coming out of them. So they must be working also.
No. It's a short hop to the park from there, though
There is no monthly. Its a membership park that is open to the public. Its not considered a live on facility.
Why am I getting this as well?
