Spent 2 nights out in the open under party cloudy skies but a bright moon in a favorite location. On the beach till late and hiking between patches of woods, ponds, and miles of barren"dunescape". with a mix of light n dark. Surreal camping with only the fire at camp for a light source.

I don't know of a better place to go duning. The dunes are always changing from the wind too, so they're never quite the same. Great fun, and great community of fun-lovers who are always willing to lend a helping hand if you get stranded or stuck; assuming someone is around to find you. Pro tip, don't break down in the tide zone after everyone else has gone home.

Great place to visit and ride. Doesn't feel crowded. Lots of space to go around for everyone.

Yes you can access the beach off paved Rd on either end of the dunes (north or south) riding area or 3 sand access roads along the west side of the dunes. It's approximately 6 miles long a 4x4 or off road toy is recommended for access.
