Today was the first and last time with Overton. I did not know he is only a P.A. and had assumed he was an M.D. He isn't a M.D. The receptionist was great, friendly and professional. As for Overton, he only asked questions from his computer, wanted very short answers and did not look at me once. He didn't examine me or even listen to my heartbeat. I found him to be cold and didn't seem to want to know anything beyond his computer questionnaire. There was no personal interaction. If I started to ask him a question, he acted put off and quickly went on to his questioning. Don't waste your time or money...go to a Pain Mgt Clinic that has licensed MD's that care, who will do an exam and look at you as a human being, and help with pain.

Dr. Overton Is very understanding. I feel very safe, also after many many Dr.s, he laid it out for me. I finally got the truth. The front staff is always friendly and kind. Thank You 😊

I am so happy that I went to the clinic. I have been in severe pain for years, and no other doctor wanted to help me or received only minimum care. That was almost nothing. Since I went there, I lost nearly 20 lbs because I could move again. I can do things with my kids, and they love it. The clinic well controls my pains. My life has changed for the better. Thank you guys from the advanced pain care clinic.

Do not waste your time with "Doctor" Overton. First thing you should no is Mr. Overton is not a Doctor. If you call him that, his ego will not correct you, he is a Doctor's Assistant. My real Doctor diagnosed my condition, but Mr. Overton though she was incorrect and tried to place me on a medication (narcotics) that was not needed. He tried to have me get an MRI even though I had one 2 weeks prior to my appointment. He claims he knows more then most doctors, & told me I would not being seeing the doctor "his boss" because Mr. Overton feels he knows better. Prior to meeting Mr. Overton the rude woman at reception threatened to cancel my appointment if I did not perform a urine test, I explained I was not on any medication, & was not seeking medicine. She did not care and said it's office policy (another way to over charge my insurance) Mr. Overton became childish by slamming his computer closed and got up to leave the room when I offered my opinion about my treatment. He will not let you finish a sentence & speak over you. My guess is if he completed school & became a real Doctor he would have learned about how to listen to your paychecks. With all the mood swings I witnessed during my appointment, it would appear that Mr. Overton is the one who needs to have the urine test.
