Received a survey after split curbside/Ship to home order that seemed to relate only to the order. I was trying to make it clear to the company that it's entire shipping practice needs updating but apparently this was directed to the store itself as a direct complaint. Manager reached out to offer appeasement due to MY oversight and COMPANY'S bad policies. If that ain't customer service, y'all. BJs if you see this, that woman is your MVP and you better remove the "complaint/poor survey" from her/the store's report card because again, poor communication. Also change the app to make it clear you're shipping something.... that came from the store I picked up at.

MICE! Went to the Taunton, MA location for the first and LAST time because we were in the area. Selection certainly wasn't as good as our local store but the biggest issue was MICE! While shopping, a furry friend ran right across the center isle and under a pallet. Hopefully none of the food is getting contaminated.

I've been a member for 20 years, and frequent this location weekly. The stocked items seem to be better these days, with more consistent stock of toilet paper, paper towels, water, meats, milk, etc. I like the selection of seasonal items, especially summer. However, I'm not really a fan of when they move the stock to different locations around the store, and I waste time trying to search for items. Many of the staff are friendly and helpful. The deli workers do a good job and I like the convenience of ordering deli items online, so I can pickup 30min later, however the system should notify me if/when the item I ordered was out of stock. I'm happy the see the store has now implemented a face mask policy in which "anyone entering a BJs location will be required to wear a facial covering that covers both the mouth and nose at all times while shopping in our clubs", and offer the convenience of online or instacart for those who cannot wear a mask.

In direct comparison, Costco is better, but unfortunately further away. This location has a good selection of products, and is currently going through a freezer renovation. Self checkout is ideal, but the process is dreadfully inefficient. Still better than dealing with extremely slow and disinterested employees. Go here for bulk items, and that is it.
