Best people, family store since the 50's still in operation today by the same amazing family. If you want a new sewing machine or vacume or to repair any make and style, they are #1 of all time!

Well, if you have any doubts where to bring your machine, stop right now and bring it over to Auger. My 10 yr old Janome machine's needle broke. I could not get the new needle back in! I have done this a million times! I called and was told there was a two week wait but my husband brought it right over so we could get on "the list". Paul was expecting me, looked at the machine and put a new needle in. Nothing wrong! Whatever it was, he put a new needle in. Then he told my husband I should not be using metal bobbins, they should be plastic. Just to make sure I make the switch, he gave my guy two bobbins! Took the machine home to do my holiday sewing! The charge? $0 BTW, my machine was 10 years old and I purchased it there 10 yrs ago. It has not been back there once in those 10 years. If I have to buy a new one, you know where I will go.

Wow they were amazing. I had a broken vacuum. I debated getting it fixed versus just buying a new one, but I hate the waste and our throw-away society. When I got it back I swear it works better than when I first bought it. They were fast, told me up front the cost (it came in lower) and they threw in some free spare parts that they had laying around. I LOVE the place and highly recommend it if you are in search of a new sewing machine or vacuum, or repairs. I wish we had more of these kind of places around that repaired things!

I have a 33 year old Kirby Gen 3 which still runs like new. Recently the plug broke and I changed it but the vacuum would not run. I was getting ready to change over from vacuuming to shampooing and I had no attachments on it at the time. I took it to A&S for service and the owner informed me that the attachments trigger a safety switch in the unit and that it should work once they are connected. He was absolutely correct. He could have taken the vacuum in and charged me a service fee but instead gave some free revelatory advice. This is why A&S have been around so long while many others have come and gone. Integrity!

They do service most models
I don't know... You asked the wrong person. Best to call the store to find out.
They do carry used vacs; you're probably best calling to see what is in stock at any given time
This isn't JoAnn Fabrics. Try asking your question by calling JoAnn's.
