Great rooms and the family does everything they can to make sure anyone who stays is satisfied. The man at the front made sure this is a safe hotel and does not allow nonsense.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason. The owner was flat out rude to me and another guest, even going so far as to refuse to allow us to check in once we arrived. When asked why, he threatened to call the police. The so-called business owner lied to whomever he spoke with on the phone saying that he had been assaulted. His only grounds for denying my friend and I a room was the color of our skin and the fact that there were two males sharing a single room. Last time I checked discrimination there were fair housing laws in this country. This incident marked the second time that I called ahead to check for vacancies only to arrive and be told that no rooms were available. Witnesses each time can attest to my calm demeanour versus the hostility of the operator of the motel. I would rather sleep on the sidewalk than patronize this establishment and suggest that anyone looks for a room stay ANYWHERE else besides this hotel. On previous stays the rooms were just this side of unclean, dusty and broken windows, the TVs were ancient and outdated, exposed wires, unchanged linens, spotty wifi. I only stayed there for the anonymity. Do yourself a favor, avoid spending your money at a place that discriminates. On the phone, I was ok to rent a room to, but not in person? I'll take my money elsewhere. I suggest that you do the same.
