Went expecting a buffet as shown in photos for this place. As soon as you walk in the door the host says we no longer offer buffet services. Giving us the option to walk away but with no cell service to look up what I originally planned on for dinner I said why not if it’s a sit down Chinese restaurant they have to have the cool old school Pu-pu platter with grill in the middle. I was wrong again… This was a real bummer as my 6 year old who played it cool really wanted to go to a Chinese buffet and I had such high hopes as I was told this was the best place for it but I’m guess this was before COVID. There was only dine in experience. They serve alcohol but you wouldn’t notice it based on they never give you a drink menu. No more buffet, they said because of Covid, high food costs and staffing issues they chose to get ride of it. Portion sizes were small. The Pu-Pu plater is advertised on menu to have flaming hibachi and it to be there famous thing on the menu. No flaming hibachi, small portions and didn’t even come with rice. Again thank goodness my 6 year old is easy going. If it had been my older son he would have said this was a HUGE BUMMER right to the waitress as he doesn’t hold back but thankfully he was on a different adventure. I was expecting something much more than this place offered. The food was tasty for what it was but way overpriced for what we got. Wouldn’t go back, it’s just a basic run down looking Chinese restaurant.

Great place! They keep the buffet hot, frequently refilled, and well filled. A really good selection, and good Veg. selections too. It’s not the biggest buffet, but I’ll trade that for quality, fresh ingredients every time. But, if they have the Black Pepper Steak, you're going to want to try that! And the Homemade dumplings! Excellent Gen. Chows'... The Bad Reviews seem to be mostly about coming in at the end of the Buffet hours, and not having everything they want fresh on display. I went in within a 1/2 hour of the Buffet closing and they warned me they were running low. They let me take a look and I said OK, I know it’s late. The Owner asked if it was OK and I said I could have used a couple of Chicken wings. (theirs are the BEST around!) And he brought me some fresh! Very nice waitstaff!! Can't beat the $$ for all you can eat! And very clean! Seriously, I’ve been in the cleaning industry for a long time. The kitchen is clean, and the buffet is super clean and to temp!! Not like another nearby competitor, who shall remain nameless. Unless... ask me. Even with the new Covid Restrictions the place is fabulous. Their take out is great, and all the people who showed up at 8:45 for a buffet that closes at 9:00 and weren’t impressed don’t have that excuse to give a bad review. I’ve lived all over America, including 10 years on Maui. I know good Asian Food, and this is truly the best in the area. I’ve been trying to get them to deliver. You want to please talk them into it. So the Buffet is gone forever…but the food remains excellent. Lunch Specials can’t be beat for the price, Same with the Dinner Specials!!

After calling in our order at 4 pm on Friday afternoon. We asked if we could pick it up at 6. Arrived a little prior to 6, waited until 6:45 to get our order. The platters were smaller than normal and missing items. The food was not up to par, the rice was sticky, almost like it had been reheated from day before. This, in addition to what we paid for the meal we were disappointed. After being a steady customer for a long time, chances are pretty good we will be looking elsewhere for Chinese food.

I’ve had great service and food from the Buffet. The only time I’ve ever had issue with what was available or how fresh it was is when I went in late: like 8:30. There were only 4 other people there. They’d close in a month if they had to keep everything fresh and hot for 4 people! That’s another point; it’s a balancing act between keeping thing to temp for safety and keeping things “fresh” on the Buffet line. I’ll take to temp any day. I get what the others say, but you must get it, right? You can’t keep all 25 offerings hot and fresh right up till 9:39 close... I have actually had the Owner offer to make anything that was missing when I came in at 8:45pm! I told him, That’s, but no, I’m late and what is left is plenty b
