The Vineyard at 37 High Holly

I do not see my original review so posting again. I will start by saying I would choose The Vineyard at 37 High Holly over and over again! My husband and I got married November 7, 2020. Leading up to the Wedding was when everything shut down due to COVID. Rachel at the Vineyard was MORE than helpful through everything. I'm sure I was overwhelming at times but she kept us updated on current restrictions and what she anticipated happening by our Wedding Day. The Day of everything was absolutely beautiful and ran seamlessly. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the Vineyard was to this day. I would highly recommend The Vineyard at 37 High Holly for your special day. My husband and I were extremely happy with our choice of venue. It was absolutely beautiful and Rachel was amazing to work with!

We have attended several weddings and events at The Vineyard at 37 High Holly and everyone of them have been spectacular! The grounds are amazing and you can see the thought put into keeping it in such wonderful shape. The attention to detail that the general manager, Rachel, gives to everything she does is top notch. The accommodations are very well appointed and very clean. Love that you can order wine and charcuterie to have upon your arrival! Great venue, great people, great location and close to Highlands, Cashiers and Atlanta.

We booked our venue in 2019 with our wedding planned for 2020, which of course was postponed due to COVID. Our experience basically was this- the venue and guest accommodations are gorgeous. We were thrilled with the venue and it met expectations based on aesthetics. We unfortunately had a terrible time with communication flexibility and supportiveness of management. We were repeatedly asked to repeat extremely detailed and time consuming spreadsheets even after having completed them as requested. We were routinely asked to field calls and answer questions for guests who had called the vineyard directly with booking questions. As the bride with only day of wedding coordination service I was working daily with multiple vendors and was astonished that our venue was asking us to do so much work on behalf of their paid staff. We ended up having an very unprofessional argument with the venue only days before our wedding date regarding several short tempered exchanges between the venue, myself and our guests. I understand that these are very challenging times for the wedding industry, but I expected more from our most significant vendor and from folks working in a direct customer facing role. We were disappointed with the communication and service we received. However at the end of things the staff was very apologetic about how things were handled. Overall we had a beautiful wedding with a lot of unnecessary frustration.
