Recently, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Fire Mountain for 6 nights for a much needed escape from all of life's daily stressors. When deciding where to stay, we wanted to stay somewhere that we could not only reconnect with each other in luxury accommodations but also ground ourselves in nature. We found that Fire Mountain exceeded all of our expectations! From farm fresh cuisine, breathtaking views, on site nature trails, spa and most importantly award winning southern hospitality, it's a wonder why anyone would stay somewhere else. We will definitely return soon!

Fire Mountain is a perfect location for a couple’s getaway. Mathew and Hiram are extremely helpful and personally helped us plan out hikes and activities each day. We’ve been twice so far and plan to go back again soon! I can’t recommend Fire Mountain highly enough.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was so wonderful. The Inn keepers are fantastic cooks and fabulous hosts. We cannot recommend this place enough. The scenery is beautiful and it is the perfect escape for those looking for a cozy time in the Highlands.

Staying here this week. Excellent mountain views. Nice hiking options. Exceptional friendly staff. Great breakfast provided for inn residents. Very secluded location but good access road for the mountain location. Highly recommend if you desire a non traditional remote mountain inn experience.

HI Daniel. Thank you for your interest in Fire Mountain. Please click this link that directs you to the accommodation page on our website https://firemt.com/stay/ Our Treeshouses are not free standing structures in trees but resemble treehouses in how you access them, their views, and size. They have the least of the amenities that we provide. Our Cabins are free standing structures with fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs and full kitchen. If you have further questions please feel free to give us a call. Sincerely, Mathew
Cool clean mountain air in the high elevations of the Highlands is the main reason guests have come and returned to Fire Mountain over the past 22 years and also for the spectacular nature and views of our hundreds of secluded mountaintop acres. July is the warmest month of the year and the average mean temperature on the Highlands Plateau and at Fire Mountain is 67 degrees. If we needed air conditioning we would certainly have such but we would also loose the peace, quiet, serenity and sounds of nature that we experience as a result of not having air conditioning compressors on our mountaintop. All accommodations and buildings at Fire Mountain have no air conditioning and all sit at an elevation of over 4,000'. Experience a very unique and unconventional mountaintop hideaway at Fire Mountain! Thanks so much! Hiram
