This is really a great place to live - its close to a really good city with lots of events and things to do - plus its close to many business centers where employment can be found - for me, it is less than 5 miles from work and less than 2 miles from fun! AND, if I want the bigger city experience, Atlanta is only 30 minutes away - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

WOW. HORRIBLE. I have seen and heard so many negative reviews and thoughts on this apartment complex and we decided to give it a chance despite the comments we have heard and seen. The staff was nice at first but when a problem occurred they switched on us so quickly. They do NOT care about you or your feelings as they just want to fill a spot and take your money. At first, we were told our apartment would be held (which apparently they don’t do after telling us it would’ve been??) Then they overcharged my account random fees and I still haven’t seen the money. Our process of moving in was supposed to be exciting and fresh and their staff tarnished it for us. We are a huge part of the Duluth community as well as our families and we have let the community know how awful our experience was with this facility. I hope you take this review into consideration when trying to move into this very basic complex. If you want to be bullied while trying to pay (well overpay) a complex of employees who are simply rude and unprofessional, move here! I wish we would’ve listened to our friends and family who told us not to come here before hand! Now let’s see if we are actually refunded! UPDATE: it’s been almost TWO months and we still haven’t been refunded! :)

The move in process was efficient and easy. Maria was able to show me a couple of places that was move in ready and places she thought would be suitable. She listened to our needs and wanted us to have the best experience. So far our stay has been amazing. I recommend Maria to be your contact. Maintenance has also been very helpful. Nevi and Hector are professional and they get the job done quickly and quietly. Because of the maintenance team, my living situation has been comfortable.

EZ GG! this is NOT a shill review! Amazing/Efficient/Super Easy - Beverly made this so painless. I was able to get the unit I wanted, and I was in and out with paperwork being a BREEZE. Total time of paperwork was ONE HOUR, maybe less than that. I will update this review after settling in (maybe a month) to address some of the issues I read about in other reviews since I can't write about what I haven't experienced yet. I went by a few times to see the model unit and the actual units are better or exactly like the website show. Notes on Crest, etc. other places: I also went by Crest at Berkeley, Promenade at Berkeley, District, and a few others. For the price, Heights has the best value. I originally intended to move into Crest at Berkeley. My friends who moved there (since they know I research thoroughly first) were dismayed to find they were bamboozled into a bait and switch, it's really a shame how they were tricked into an older unit with defective appliances. The washer and the dryer AND the dishwasher all broke and they are STILL waiting on the appliances to be repaired/replaced, 3 months after both of them complaining and even me asking for an intervention. Otherwise I would have moved to Crest. Don't be fooled. I went to District and they are pretty units but about $200-800 more per the same space. That's a jump, location wise it's not as good either. Heights is Airy and open and Bright and light stone while District is dark and industrial and dark brick. It's hard to get in and out of and parking is tighter too. For reference, when in Midtown, I was at the same cost for better units, aka overpriced. Promenade is cute and maybe good for starter style apartments, but each entryway smells like garbage...it's a nice service but that's not for me. The ceilings are lower too unless you get a top level unit. I originally looked into apartments for Google Fiber. I did end up with ATT Fiber, so it's not terrible as far as I know. I'm consistently getting 900+ and about 300+ for wireless connections.
