Very caring staff, but if you test positive for COVID, you are banished to a tiny room that is crammed full of beds and made to feel like a leper. The staff comes in twice a day to deliver meals, and once at 1:30 AM for a head count. There is no running water in this facility, so you are pretty much at their mercy, when it comes to getting a water jug filled. Obviously, no running water, means no showers. For 10 days? Hmmm...

Been to and used the services at this shelter. It helped and got me on The straighte and narrow great experience,Staff, and fellow Residence. My friend I had meet during my stay didn’t have the same luck as I. And needed to attend a second round. But the entry process had completely changed To some sort of rating system. Of who is in more need of the services. You think someone beat up and robbed more than once in a period of a year would rate right at top of list that would be a No. Or sick and being inside mean that they would be less likely to have a relapse again it’s a No. Bottom of the list it Appears is where you go. At least that is where this person has been put for the last year and a half. While the people and not all but a large majority are drinking or using daily and are staying there. This has gone from a dry Sheltet to a wet Shelter. Being drunk or high seems to be the norm when these things use to bring Repercussions. Information from current residence is that there is no curfew as are used to be people who have bed Come and go at any hour of the night whether or not they have a job or not. Residence wonder around the facility all hours of the night. This place has gone from somewhere safe for the weak to get help to a place where Those take advantage of the system thrive than those in need of help. I hope some entity That can change what is happening back to where it help those who would have used their stay to get a permanent place to live and or a steady job.

You have to go to 600 Morgan st first and sign up for services then If you have a problem with drug users (Meth)heads this is not the place for you and yes you do have to have an Id which Morgan st will give you a couture to go to DMV to get one
