Convenient location to jump on Sonoma County Airport Express to head to SFO. Easy parking across from the Fairgounds.

Convenient to both freeways by the fairgrounds, the place to catch the bus to airports. No conveniences except a bench or two. Very noisy and gritty b/c freeway is right above the pickup spot.

This park n ride is pretty good. It's semi covered by hwy 12 overhead so your car doesn't catch as much weather damage as it would in a regular lot when parking there 5 days a week. It usually only fills up about 2/3 of the way during the week so there's always a place to park. The local and Golden Gate Transit buses stop there as well as "The Airporter" buses to & from the airports in SF & Oakland. The only drawback is occationally it is closed off by the Fairgrounds when they use it for paid parking during some events. There isn't any security during non event times but if you lock your stuff up out of view it isn't usually a problem. As of late with the Fires there is an increase of people using it as a spot to park while living in thier cars or campers due to temporary homelessness. That has caused an increase of trash left behind but it gets cleaned up fairly regularly by the Fairgrounds maintenence staff. One thing to note. If you are planning on parking your car there with a "For Sale" sign in or on it you might want to reconsider because the Fairgrounds staff may decide to have your car ticketed or even towed if they notice it. This is because they don't want people competing with the "Car Mart" they have across the street in the Jockey Club parking area on weekends. Or parking there during the non weekend days for non ridesharing purposes. While I haven't ever seen them enforce it, if you look carefully it is posted on signs in the lot area itself. So wanna be car sales people beware. There is lighting and a 7-11 across the street if you need something before or after your commute or bus wait. Its also a good place to park for the FleaMarket during the busy summer ones put on by the Vets across the street since they ofton pack the Vets parking area to capacity. Not needed usually for the Mojo Sales fleamarkets since they are usually much smaller.

If you call a taxi, sure. But they don't wait around the area.
Some you can. Some you can't. It's usually posted on a sign when you drive in.
It's the only one in Santa Rosa.
SHORTEST ANSWER: YES YOU CAN. Be sure you lock it up and leave no valuables inside in view. I reccomend choosing a space next to a pillar to reduce the chance of door ding damage to one side. The LONG technical answer: still yes but in legal reality no registered car is supposed to be remained parked unmoved on any Santa Rosa public street area for more than 72 hours. Within the City limits. (exception is metered parking and parking garages) If it is and someone complains or it is noticed, the tires are marked and a warning notice is left on the car that it may be ticketed and towed after 72 hours from the day the tires were marked. This leaves you well within the safe time frame for 6 days even if it was applied from the minute you parked it. Thats all legally. In reality... In this Park n Ride lot. No one is going to either notice or complain. But make sure you do not have a FOR SALE sign on the car or the fairgrounds may have an issue with it. But what they do i dont know.
