Lovely to view the art. Some of the rooms were too crowded & the museum should do a better job of controling entry & departure times. Pack a lunch & enjoy the park & its many benches.

A great museum with many fantastic pieces. They have this absolutely cool observation tower where you can capture some fantastic views of San Francisco. Go check it out! We loved it. You must stop here! Right in the heart of the Golden Gate park. ❤️

There's so much to see and read about the great Mayan civilization and its multi-cultural structure that prominently existed for about 27-30 centuries. And its spread across 40 odd city-states of Central America and Mexico, each ruled by its very own heirarchical feudal ruler. The Museum depicts in paintings, murals, artifacts, potteries and structures of that era. Indeed, an attractive visual and informative display of the fine arts of Americas' past, well preserved for all to savor.

DeYoung museum is located in the Golden Gate Park making the visit to this museum a perfect weekend outing. There is a wide variety of exhibits on display. While whether you like them or not is a matter of personal taste, I found some to be extra ordinary and some average. Nevertheless it is a must visit place on the SF map. The people and atmosphere is very friendly and the whole experience is quite pleasant.

Call the museum.
Yes
We saw the Judy Chicago exhibit which is FANTASTIC snd there through Jan 9th 2022. We did not see the Patrick Kelly exhibit.
There are maybe two spots near the botanical gardens entrance and very few in parking garage. There really aren't many disabled spaces throughout the park. Best advice is to get there early so you can park as close as possible to the museum
Go to the famsf website. It may take a while for a response since the museum's are closed at this time.
This is more of Theater Structure.
Only DeYoung and Legion of Honor. MOMA is separate.
Yes. You should arrive for the time you bought the ticket for but they may be able to accommodate you if you are going to arrive late. We were 40 minutes late for an exhibit and they took care of us.
It depends on the show but you can visit the exterior for free.
