Hampton Inn is my hotel of choice and I've always been pleased with Hampton Inn . But I really feel this Hampton Inn is in need of renovations. The paint was chipped, the mop boards looked in need of repairs etc. I would suggest that whoever checks on the physical environment of your hotels look into this one. I was on vacation for ten days and all but one night was in Hampton Inn and I was more than pleased with all of them except the one at this location. I'm a very loyal customer.

The smell in the rooms and the lobby are so nasty that we sat outside to get away from it. I question the cleanliness because of the smell. We tried to go to the lobby area to sit, but the tables and everything was filthy and so wobbly. They have napkins under the table legs to stabilize them. Also, if I’m in Florida and it’s hot and housekeeping or maintenance doesn’t realize the heat was on instead of air. Well 🤔! I mean what else is not handled. Thank goodness we only have to be here for 3.5 hours! Do not fall for the NEWLY RENOVATED BS! I would not want my dog to sleep here!!!!

Overall great hotel, but Donavan (I think that’s how you spell it) who was working the front desk April 7-10 2022 at night was by far the best front desk employee I ever encountered while staying at a hotel. Very friendly while answering calls, very welcoming every time I came into the lobby, always asked if I needed something or if my room was all good. Every hotel needs a guy like him in their lobby!

Positive: Male staff was pleasant. The room was big. Negative: Unsafe location. Thieves broke into our car and stole a bag. There are no warning signs/ reminders on the property. It seemed we were not the only victims at this property. Receptionist was the least empathic. No surveillance. Would never stay here again.
