This little hotel is a gem. After a very traumatic day of travel my friends and I felt so welcome here. The check in process was easy and the young lady in the office was wonderful. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Great restaurants are within easy walking distance. Our room was exceptionally clean. It was basic but obviously is well maintained. The hotel was quiet despite being full. The courtyard area is cute. We sat out there and met several others. There are many types of beach equipment and toys available for use. The beach is less than a block from the hotel. Again an easy walk. If you’re looking for a safe, clean, quaint place to stay for a quick trip look no further than the Drift. It’s reminiscent of the 1950’s mom and pop hotels.

An old school, recently renovated FL hotel with excellent rates and near the beach. Really neat courtyard area in the shade to hang in the breeze for a bit. Thin walls and did not have water available at the vending. The big stinky mark was waking up blocked in by another vehicle. Parking passes were handed out, staff was out and about. No excuse for that, don't block your clients in, even if you are the "cheaper" hotel. A 200+ a night, come on.

Extremely Disappointing Experience! Really neat, old-school, Boutique Hotel. We were looking forward to our 1 night here before flying out the next am. When we arrived, there was no where to park. Only a few spaces in front of the hotel, that were all full. So, we had to drive a few blocks away and park on the street. $6-$9 per hour for parking. When we finally went to check in, there were a few shady looking street workers checking in, which put a bad taste in our mouth. We were rethinking our stay at this point. But, had already paid for the room and were exhausted, so decided to stay. The room had an awful BO smell and we noticed an air freshener attached high up on the wall, which made it really hard to breathe and stay in the room, much less sleep at night! So, we quickly left and walked to a restaurant up the street.. Sure enough, the nasty workers were on street corner in front of the hotel, already putting-in work.. When we left the next am they were still out there 🤦🏻♂️ Not a good look for your beautiful, little hotel. Management should crack down on this kind of soliciting going on at the property! The hotel should also inform you about the parking situation before arriving and booking a room. It’s sad because this is a really unique, little hotel, they just need to manage it and run it a little better and get rid of the smells in the room.

The drift hotel was fantastic! It is super clean, modern/recently renovated, and literally just a few steps to the beach. It's also right next door to a great patio/restaurant. The staff are all awesome. We were very impressed overall.

48 hours notice it's still by far the most reasonable the nicest hotel on the beach
It's not designed for kids really and they're really strict about the cleanliness
Yes tell them you will be arriving late and your key will located outside the front office they're awesome
No shuttle, but it was very easy to just get an Uber or Lyft.
