Go to Bayside Vet hospital. It’s a fraction of the cost and they aren’t as ugly and as greedy. Do not trust the female taller nurse. The honest truth is buried by the questionable reviews.

I've taken my dogs to a few different animal hospitals and I will say that one thing that sets the team at Mohnacky Animal Hospital (Vista) apart from other pet hospitals is that as soon as you give them a call, you can tell their staff really cares about the wellness of your pet! I can't stress enough how much that means as a pet owner!! I called them, scared out of my mind because my 15 year old terrier mix had a health scare and the lady on the other line (wish I remembered her name) right away asked me a few vital questions and gave me some helpful tips to help ease my poor baby girl's pain and set me up with their next available appointment. That interaction alone shows me what a caring staff they have at the Vista location. I would highly recommend them to any pet owners :)

I just moved to Vista and needed my dog to be seen as she was acting a little strange. Turned out she was pregnant with three little pups! The staff and vet have been absolutely amazing and super helpful throughout this process and managed to squeeze my dog and her puppies to be checked out. They have followed up daily to ensure everything is going well. Their attention and overall care for my pets has been phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you thank you thank youuuu to everyone there!! Y’all have been the biggest blessing. Nala, Rafiki and Zazu love you all ❤️

A dog co owned was taken into this veterinary for an ear infection for the first time. They forced the owner to agree to take rabies in order to get the dog cared for even though the dog had already been vaccinated. The dog has a history with different vets. However the owner only gave permission to take the rabies vaccine and only provided records for the rabies and not the other vets because the only shot he was suppose to get was rabies. Instead of going by what the owner instructed and consented, they over vaccinated the dog and mismanaged the well being of the dog. Upon realizing their mistake, they removed the charges for the treatment that was not consented but that does little to the dogs well being. Poor practice. I would not recommend a practice that puts money ahead of the dogs well being.

Ticks can lead to many diseases and if a tick head is not removed properly, skin infections may occur. If you have any questions, please call your veterinarian.

What experience does your practice have with the care of pet Condors?

Janet Walkenhorst | Aug 21, 2019

Condors are surviving birds that were bred at the San Diego Wild Animal Park and the Los Angeles Zoo. Since then, its population has grown, but the California condor remains one of the world's rarest bird species: as of 2017 there are 463 condors living wild or in captivity. We are a small animal hospital serving cats and dogs only.

Where can i take my cat that needs medical attention for no income cat owners

Paws for vets is the program that runs here, if u are a veteran or have one in ur family they are the greatest, they saved our dog mr chewy ,he was doing real bad and he got all taken care of, medications and cold laser therapy, they were really great. As for low income vet care it doesn't really exist as far as ive seen. Best thing to do is go to àny PetSmart and get the $25 exam special for first timers from the banfield veterinary inside, and hope u can find out the problem.
