It's a little longer drive for me but I prefer this location because it's a central post office and the people at the counter are very kind and helpful. I sometimes have special situations with items that I need to ship and they always seem to know the right thing to do.

My favorite post office, has self-service kiosks, which are open even for shipping outside of standard hours. They also have PO Boxes on site. Workers here are super nice as well 👍🏻👍🏻

Why a "5" rating for a USPO? Because they have late mail pick ups at 7 and 8pm Mon thru Sat.! For biz or personal mail, that makes a big difference. Also lots of self-service options way past the usual post office hours. Also, they offer a FULL SERVICE dedicated passport office. At 6:15 PM on a Friday, there were people still being helped.

You can go to www.usps/passport to make an appointment. You can also do a walk in at the Carmel Mountain post office from 6am-5pm Monday-Friday.

You'll need to either go online and look up the hours for that, or to contact that office directly.
No, you can't. If you want to track a package, or a certified letter, that you have sent, then you must set up that service at the time you're sending it ( at the post office). They will give you a ticket with the tracking# & info.
