So I showed up in my Camper Van at 2am. I bought groceries from the store several times while I was parked there. I was leaving at 10am. I have multiple sclerosis. The 4 times I did buy from the overpriced store, I was on crutches. 930 am. A knock on the window by the owner I guess. Told me it was time to leave. As I was already leaving at ten for a road trip, I was just getting ready to shop for the road trip. Whoever asked me to leave is nothing more than a bully. The entire store is overpriced but I did the right thing and patronized his business while I parked. He was very aggressive toward me like I was causing a disturbance or had done it a lot in the past. This is the first time I parked in his parking lot. Ever. I said, no problem. I'll leave. I was just waiting on a phone call. And he continued to lecture me on how long I had been there. I told him I was leaving and that he did not need to be so aggressive. This store wreaks of greed.

Open 24 hours. Delicious baked goods. Big wine and beer selection. Good fresh produce. Firewood. Dry ice. All the vacation provisions you will need.

My reviews can't be bought and well... This place should not reflect the prices of groceries on the coast. "It's Very Overpriced" not to be confused with expensive. The items you'll find at JC Thrift way market are all the items consumers don't really want. The only convenience is 24 hrs. Otherwise, I strongly recommend shopping at Fred Meyers, Safeway or Walmart. This store is privately owned by a gentleman that was previously with the Sheriff's office and he is not a friend of the community. Just part of a good ol boy system. I stood in line while a new cashier asked for courtesy help. The owner actually came over to the register and said. Stop asking for courtesy clerk assistance. Take a good hard look around if you ever are forced to go into that over priced GougeMart. Bad for the community all the way around, and one locally owned store that should be shut down and make room for a quality home town grocer. Don't say anything though, you'll get this whole speech about independent and family owned. It's BS .... So BS

This is my favorite place to buy meat in Newport. They have the widest selection of meat in their case including Goat most of the time. The produce is fresh & well stocked. The Deli is a good place to grab something quick if you're running short of time. The folks behind the counter are accommodating to your needs. Store and Parking Lot are Clean and easy get on and off Highway 101. The Best Thing Is They are Locally Owned So Your Money Stays In Lincoln County.
