Bought my daughter an acoustic guitar here almost about six months ago for her birthday. I also bought her all the bells and whistles to go with it, i.e guitar bag, hanger, straps, extra cords etc,... The owner (I think) was very nice and was very helpful, however I did sense he thought I was going to have a problem with money and paying for everything? He pointed out along the way what everything cost etc,.. even though he knew that we were there for a birthday gift and we had intended on a large purchase. Right up to checkout when I was on my phone for a work related matter I had to attend to briefly he made mention of me having to "transfer some bank funds". Really? I did not appreciate any of his financial input especially in front of, and within ear shot of all of my children. If he wanted to "help out" he could have offered a birthday discount. Anyways, very off putting and we will only be going here for immediate/emergency strings etc,...

the owner helped pick me out both my guitars and equipment. he's wonderful, and very helpful. he showed me how to change strings and installed a strap button on my acoustic electric at no charge. he even threw in a free cable when I purchased my set-up. I love our little local music shop.

I visited the Red Lotus in search of a new acoustic guitar. The owner (Evans) was extremely easygoing and nice to talk to, not to mention very knowledgeable. Nice selection of instruments in store ranging from new to consignment. I will definitely be back to visit Red Lotus!
