I've taken 3 guitars to repair zone over the last 5 years for setups. The quality of work I received on the first two were outstanding... five years later, my Schecter Demon-6 is still one of the best feeling guitars I've ever touched. I ended up moving away and buying a Telecaster last December, and I took it to a local shop where I lived. Once I did that, the drastic difference in quality was immediately noticeable. Fast forward to this month, I decided to make a trip back to San Diego with the main purpose being to visit this shop in order to get my tele the setup it deserved. I came in with questions about recommendations for string gauges and changing tunings and was met with straight, informed answers and friendly service. Got the guitar back yesterday and it feels better than ever. The staff here make sure to answer all questions you have and I've always been treated great by them. I might have to continue coming back every time I get a new guitar.

Over the years, Fred and his crew have been the sole luthier(s) for all 40+ of my stringed instruments. From simple setups to third pickup installs to railroad spikes in my Earl Scruggs, I have NEVER been displeased or otherwise with the Repair Zone. Even the instruments I bought there were excellent, as is all of the work Fred and his guys have performed for me over the years. During the pandemic, his wait times did string out but apparently my secret had gotten out and everyone else was in the know! Sincerely, this is the ONLY shop I use...even after moving to Temecula (45 miles away), I still and will continue to have only the Repair Zone touch my instruments!

They fixed up my Epiphone Dot just right or should I say "left". Had a righty Dot that needed a lefty nut and they set it up perfectly. Also with no extra charge, fixed my output jack and cleaned up some old crusty glue on the neck from a self repair when I was young and dumb. Super friendly staff, great and fair prices, and great service. I will totally bring the next guitar I fail at repairing myself there haha. A+

These guys are the absolute best. It's the only place I'll let touch my guitars 🎸fair and honest with superior craftsmanship. Thanks again guys.

They were stringing a ukulele as I was coming in their store.
Hi Donny, A fret level, crown and polish is going to be roughly $160-$180. We would love to see your guitar. Thanks. -Jeff
