Hands down my favorite New York slice place in San Diego. I will drive from Chula to grab a few slices, stop in for lunch and take em tot the nearby park to enjoy. My go to is Spinache Ricotta and a slice of Mushroom Ricotta, and a garlic knot because they're bomb. Friends come and visit from out of town, they want pizza, we go here! Interesting topping combinations and a good beer selection to go with!

This place is incredible! Parking wasn't too easy but only had to walk half a block. Walked in and told the guy at the counter we had never been there since we were on vacation. He explained everything and we got a bunch of slices to try. He then through in a slice of a different one we opted not to try, because there were too many already, for free. We tried the bbq chicken, white girl, crime scene, regular pepperoni, buffalo chicken, and Hawaiian. We also had many garlic breads too. It was the best meal of our trip by far. And the price was super reasonable. They have certainly created fans who will absolutely return, maybe even again before we leave again in a couple days.

I love it here! This is the second location I’ve been to for this small local chain and the pizza is just as excellent, flavorful, and fresh as it is at the other location. The service staff here is truly what such apart; all of the employees were kind, especially Scarlet who was extremely personable, kind, and made you feel welcome at the restaurant. I ordered the mushroom and ricotta pizza and the slice was huge! None of the singular components were too overpowering, and yet you could taste all of the small nuanced flavors, which you only get with the very best pizza. Definitely well worth the price; I only wish I would’ve waited just a second longer to eat it so I could snap a good picture for this review, but it was just too good! Overall, I cannot recommend Pizzeria Luigi enough!

Nice pizza place. Pizza slices are quite good. Parking is scarce, possible to park a block or so away from the place. Few seats inside and a few outside. Not much shade on the outdoor seating depending on the time of day. If you are an artist of writing so to speak, the bathroom here will be a taggers canvas.
