I finally tried this place. Out of Chicago this is the best. Although i am giving it 3 stars. Reason being if i was in back in my hometown i wouldn't go here over any of the other pizza joints. 5 stars would have been if i thought this could be competition for places in Chicago. The sauce is a little strange in flavor, lacking flavorful cheese and i would have enjoyed a larger amount of cheese. I prefer the more "biscuit like" crust of Giordanos. Crust reminds me more of Lou's which is good for some people. The french fries were great, but i didn't order here for the fries. The flavor of the sausage on the pizza was great though! Good for familes, my 2 and 3 year old approved.

Having tried 4 others in our beautiful city, this friendly unassuming restaurant is my favorite Chicago style pizza place in San Diego. It's authentic, super flavorful, just the right amount of each ingredient and has become a regular treat that my whole family enjoys. I recommend the spinach pizza. Even your spinach-phobic kids will love it!

Been here once before. Drove 30 minutes specifically for their deep dish pizza. Had to have it again. It does not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere! The renovations really makes this place stand out. So far the best pizza I've ever had. Gonna try everything off their menu.
