The best dog rescue that you could hope for. We found a starving collared dog wandering the streets at night that had clearly been abused. We were recommended this Center since many other places were likely to put him down. We brought him in and the staff rushed him in for immediate care. Whatever vetting process they make people go through is because of how much they truly care about animals. They do amazing work and deserve every donation possible, thank you to the wonderful staff that keep this place going!

Meet my new kitty Roxie ! The center was so accommodating and kind. They truly helped me find my new family member.

Clean, no kill shelter and they socialize their animals. There’s a vetting process so not everyone may get approved, but if you do, you’ll discover that the pets will adapt quickly to your home. Adoption fees are reasonable and they give you everything you need to make sure your pet is ready for their “forever “ home

Always appreciated! This is a no kill shelter... They do an amazing job, have amazing staff that lives these animals... Yes, donations are always needed....
I know they would be happy to have a donation of your cat food. I'm going to email one of the volunteers and I will let you know as soon as I hear back. May I tell her what city you live in to start?
I can say based on observation that it's the heart, not the age....
Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center on PCH in Huntington Beach.
I would seek out a rescue before taking them to a shelter. Maybe Kitten Rescue Los Angeles can help or make a suggestion. Good luck. 🙏
I didn't see that they had those services. Call them I honestly cant answer your question I'm sorry
Sorry I don't work there.. but I'm sure they can always use an extra hand..🖐️
If you love her you'll put her out of all pain.
They'll take almost anything provided the items are clean and in decent condition.
Yey
Yes, but the facility is very full. I suggest you call during business hours and talk to the staff before going there.
Not exactly what is being asked here. Are you trying to adopt or drop off a pet?
Call the shelter
Does this animal care center take in stray kittens and cats?
Yes but she should try to find a good home first.
They are a no kill shelter so safe... And have a big building just for Cats!
I don't think so
Read the reviews before u head down there... their process for adoption is way out of whack, and seems to be your approval is based on their personal agenda..
go to long beach shelter.
Yes they do. It is a no kill shelter.
Just contact them via phone
They have very limited room. Give them a call first.
They're great people there. You should definitely contact them.
If you don't have the money to buy a dog, than you shouldn't have a dog. Believe me, they are expensive and you can't cut corners - they absolutely NEED flea medication or near constant baths with how bad the flea infestations are this year - that's already over 200$ a year, on top of cost for pet food, poop bags, leash and collar, licensing, spay/neuter (which is legally required in the state of CA) vaccinations, etc. Dogs are wonderful, and I would never trade mine for anything, but if you want a free dog because you already are thinking "cheap", don't get a dog.
No, Can not understsnd why you would think that??
No just cats and dogs
Yes!
You can adopt... You have to go in to see what is available
No, this is a private non-profit animal shelter. It is not a County facility.
Yes
