I got so lucky this place is right by my new apartment. I wasn't sure how long my repair might take, but I just walked in and they got the diagnosis, repair, and payment done all in about 20 minutes. The price was fair too. I will be going back to look at the warehouse as well which looked really cool.

I found a fully metal sewing machine at a thrift store and dropped it off to see if Mr. Sewing machine could look it over and fix the problems it had. They did it in a few weeks and for a very reasonable price! When I went to pick it up I was walked through a few basics with the specific machine, instructions on different settings, and they were happy to answer all of the questions I had. This machine is now easy to handle and sews through everything like butter. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their machine repaired or serviced.

I dropped off a sewing machine back in October to be repaired as a Christmas gift. It took a long time to repair, but the work done was well worth it. I could barely believe it was the same machine. They were so thorough with restoring and repairing it. They even found a table for the unit, which looks beautiful! This was a gift to my mother, who had tears of joy when she saw it. On top of the amazing work, their customer service was above and beyond!

We require masks in the store for all Customer and Team Members. We temperature check our students before they enter the sewing classroom, and we supply separate work stations and supplies for each student. Shared spaces are sanitized regularly.
Hello Elizabeth, We recommend bringing your machine to the shop for a diagnostic. We do work on older Singer models, but it is difficult for us to know exactly which parts you'll need without seeing the machine in person. No appointment is necessary for a machine diagnostic. I have extensive experience with older and antique machines. I didn't work much on the new computerized machines. I worked with a fabric store chain MINNESOTA FABRICS until the owners retired, I repaired several hundred machines in fabric stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin where the sewing machines really get a real workout during the winter months. I tried to start a shop here in the Dallas metro, in 1999 but couldn't make a go of it. I really loved the hands on work and loved the praise and appreciation from the the customers. It was a "Clean Oil and Adjust" service while you shopped. $9.95 +tax. Repairs were for same day next week if i needed to order parts from Brewer Sewing Machine parts in Dallas' Texas. I made round of all the fabric store round of the company included in Minnesota , Wisconsin and Indiana.
