I would definitely recommend this place to tourists. We booked a room here somewhat last minute when our Yellowstone plans fell through from the recent river flooding. We only stayed at Chico for about 15 hours, but it was an unexpectedly fun time. We got a room with a full bed and sink. It was not an issue using the shared hallway bathrooms for our one night stay, although would probably want a room with a bathroom for a longer stay. The room was cute but also stuffy and dry, not surprising for the type of building it is. The Historic Dining Room fancy restaurant was great. Our server, Purity, was reserved but nice. The food was mostly excellent, except the smoked fingerling potatoes were over cooked (which, for a $42 meal, shouldn’t have been). The steak, trout, mushroom crostini special, and dessert were fantastic. The hot springs were fun to go in at night, and it was convenient that we could buy some drinks at the walk up bar next to the pools to relax with while we soaked. We also took advantage of Deep Creek Outdoors’ mountain bikes the next morning on their private trail before checking out. Would highly recommend them too. Overall, a really fun trip. The area it’s in is very scenic. Would definitely recommend as a stop for anyone doing a road trip on I-90.

We booked 90 min massages and then visited the hot spring pools. Entry to the pools not included with spa services. The massages were awesome! My therapist, Stephanie, was one of the best I've ever had. There are 2 pools, a smaller hotter pool and a larger cooler pool. Both felt great. It was busy but not so crowded you couldn't move. There's a full bar with window pick up, one drink per person at a time. Grill with indoor and outdoor seating...good food. Beautiful peaceful location.

Everything and everyone was absolutely amazing and beautiful. Loved the saloon, those folks know how to make a mean cocktail and the live band was on point. I enjoyed getting on the dance floor. The scenic views, no words to describe. My favorite part, it being 15° outside while I'm setting in 103° hot springs melting my worries away.

This location is stunning! The restaurant serves really top notch food and the service is always excellent. They make one of the best Lemon Drop Martinis I’ve ever had - nice and tart without being too sweet. We had a great time exploring the extensive mountain biking trails while we were here. You go through some really interesting and fun landscapes, with incredible mountain views in every direction. The trail we took, which starts near the spa, is certainly doable for pretty much any mountain biker. There are lots of fun ups and downs on a rocky dirt trail. Do bring bear spray, as bears (and elk) definitely live in the area.

I would not trust any of these replies, I would call. ppl that are not using a wheelchair, have no idea what it means to be denied access by intent, design or accident or oversight. Call them
Yes, Pamela, we are offering our Winter Getaway Package again this year! Check out our website, the pop up at the beginning has all of the information: https://www.chicohotsprings.com/
I am not aware of any rentals for snow shoes. Chico has a website and offers sled dog rides.
Just called, it is not
Felix, it depends on the area where you had coffee. Our suppliers are different for the different areas - for example: the main dining room, the gift shop, and the guest rooms.
Best bet is to call them, prices are usually pretty consistent
It's only 35 miles, but it can take 45 minutes to an hour in the summer months depending on traffic and wildlife.
Towels are provided
