Moved Into A Unit In August (After being promised a unit that was not actually available in June). After Being told several times by both the power company (Vera) and the management team at The Villages, that the reason we had not received a utility bill in the first 2 Months was the lack of action of either company. (basically the reason we didn't have an account set up, both companies claimed, is that the other company didn't do their part.) Then after finally getting an account set up and paying my bill on time for 3 straight months, at the end of the year (12/28) the charge for 2 months from when we first moved in was added to our rent charge through the Management company. I have never had more problems with a management company and their behavior and passing of the buck is extremely unprofessional. Very rude attitudes and failure to communicate leaves you feeling like middle schoolers are in charge of your lease. would look to newer management companies/locations to live, we will be when our lease is up no doubt.

I don’t understand why rent keeps going up and up. Before the new management our bill was one thing every thing was added. Since I signed my lease I have had more money added. 80 dollars for water sewer and trash. I don’t understand that. I was not informed that I was behind because of the addition until I was told I had 48 hours to pay. I love my apartment. I just wish that maybe give us long term tenants a month of free rent like you would give someone moving in. I have heard complaints and I let them go but since the new company took over I see why people are complaining

I can further attest to the fact that the management at this complex is completely inept and incapable of performing their jobs. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Choosing to live in these apartments was the biggest mistake of my life. We were missing drawers in our kitchen for the entire 20 months that I rented. Multiple work orders were put in but never fulfilled. There was black mold everywhere! I clean often, but every week the mold would be back. I was robbed while in these apartments (probably by the maintenance staff). I have never felt so violated, and the management and maintenance staff made it worse. I was frequently not allowed to access a garage that I was spending $75/month on because someone would be parked in front of it. When I would contact management they would tell me to call the on-call maintenance number next time. When I would call that on-call maintenance number, they would say that they were not authorized to have the car towed and to contact management. I went around in circles on that until I was robbed and demanded that my garage be moved. There were loud barking dogs throughout the complex that management would refuse to take action on, including the mangers own dog, which would yap away all day underneath my apartment. Then once they moved, we had a nice howling pit-bull living under us that management refused to do anything about for months. I lost countless hours of sleep because of the howling dogs below and next to me. When I finally did move out, I was sent a bill for the drawers in the kitchen that were never replaced. I was also sent a bill to replace the carpet in the entire apartment (my dog is 8 years old and house-trained. She never had a single accident in the apartment). I was also charged to repaint the entire apartment (I never hung anything from the walls, not even a picture). The bills were $1800 total and I was paying $995/month, because they automatically jack up the lease every time you go to sign, regardless of what the current rates are. Bottom line, don't rent from these incompetent crooks!

The apartment where I stayed was $750/month plus a $500 deposit

Are these units on ground floor and are they available to be soon. I would like a two bedroom one bath ground floor with w/d in unit and what would a garage cost if available.
