Positive: Beautiful inside, charming, historic. Negative: There is no AC in the rooms and no mention of when booking. The windows only open so much to let air in and when you do you can't sleep because of the noise outside. I finally called the front desk and they let me know there was a fan in the closet.

I was born and raised in the East Bay, and spent a lot of time in Berkeley. I moved away many years ago and this was my first trip back to the area as a "tourist". I feel like we couldn't have made a better choice. Special thanks to the staff for everything they did to make our stay special.

Amazing place it is like walking into a posh 1920's Mansion. Very beautiful and sophisticated. Any woman would be happy to join . The Men I saw are all cool. one of the real gems of historic buildings. The Metropolitan Club in SF is also quite nice. Incredible places in this day and age.

Positive: This hotel is a historic landmark by a famous female architect. Hotel is full of architecture significance and is well preserved. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff is also amazing. Negative: This hotel is a little old fashion with older building accommodation. There is no TV inside my room. It is a little noise that I can hear the neighbor. It still used key. Otherwise, all other, the tub, the bathroom, the bed and the bedding are good.

Having lived there in the past, I feel that in general air conditioning is not necessary in Berkeley anyway.
Yes they do
It's a 15 minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART station if you're pulling a rolling bag. Easy, pleasant walk.
Yes, they do. And I actually prefer the bar over the table.
